German publishing group Pictoplasma helps redefine animation with this three-hour festival showcasing the talents of innovative animators and studios who contributed more than 90 works to the distinctive compilation. Unlike many previous animation collections featuring random samples of styles and themes, Pictoplasma focuses on the ways that artists use narration, rhythm and motion to develop individual characters.
